The Mid-Atlantic Rockfish Shootout has seen great growth since its inception in 2004 and has lofty goals for continued and rapid expansion into the next decade. With hard work, determination and commitment to running a first-class tournament, the Mid-Atlantic Rockfish Shootout hopes to bring over 400 boats to the City of Virginia Beach consistently within the next 5 years.

| Never content to rest on its laurels, the Rockfish Shootout has increased boat participation each year. In 2004, its inaugural year, 75 boats participated - no slouch in the tournament arena. 2005 increased to 100 boats and 2006 increased by 50% to reach 146 boats. Now in 2007, the Mid-Atlantic Rockfish Shootout doubled its entries for a total of exactly 300 teams!. |

| As the tournament grows, so does the payout! To date, over $350,000 has been paid out to eager participants in the past four years. Increased participation means bigger and badder payouts! 2008's guranteed payout has been announced at $100,000 and the enrtry fee will remain at $499. |

| Over 1,250 anglers flocked to the shores of Virginia Beach in mid-January 2007 for the Mid-Atlantic Rockfish Shootout - keeping local hotels and restaurants happy in a normally slow period. Participating angler growth has increased a minimum of 50% over the previous year’s figures since its inception in 2004, with over 1,000 attendees during the event. |

| While it's true our very own fisherman love these shores, it is also true of the out of town anglers, too! That leaves 66% coming from other areas both within a close proximity to Virginia Beach as well as far beyond. It has proven to be a great way to fill hotel rooms and restaurants in the off-season as well as extend the current Rockfish season past December 31st. |

10. You will have the ability to brand your business to close to 1,500 anglers during the three-day tournament.
9. We will keep your business in front of the anglers throughout the entire event from the Captain’s Meeting to the Awards Ceremony and everything in between. You WILL get noticed!
8. Based on your level of commitment, your business may be included in all marketing collateral distributed on the East Coast from New York down through North Carolina, be included on the tournament Web site, and in the coveted Mid-Atlantic Rockfish Shootout Angler Team Buckets.
7. Your business will be associated with one of the top fishing tournaments in the United States and put you in close contact with some of the best Striper anglers in the country.
6. Your participation in the Mid-Atlantic Rockfish Shootout will help generate additional goodwill through the fish catch donation to the hungry of Virginia Beach. By bringing more competitors into the event, more fish are caught; those caught fish are filleted and donated to a local food pantry.
